It started with the “mom jeans,” the total antithesis of hip-huggers which were my go-to jeans in my teen years. At first, it took a while for mom jeans to grow on me, however, designers have really perfected the high-waist style to create a clean, crisp look. What I love about high-waisted shorts, jeans, and skirts is:
1. They accentuate your curves in the right places and keep everything into place. There is nothing falling out in the wrong places so they are super flattering.
2. I love crop tops! But I just had a babe so… high-waisted pants are the perfect solution if you want to where those adorable crop tops without showing a lot of tummy. Problem solved!
3. They elongate your legs. I am only 5’2 so I need all the help I can get. If you tuck in your shirt or pull off a crop top, the extra fabric that shows gives the illusion of longer, leaner legs. I’m sold!

I saw that pinaple skirt before and I would totaly want to have it.
I got very beautiful swimsuit with high waist, but idk why, i just don’t feel right in them, like if there’s to much everything for a swimsuit. but i’m a big adorer of highwaisted pants, can give you a great figure so easily 🙂

I absolutely love high waisted ANYTHING! High waisted bikini bottoms are such great ideas; funny actually, because I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect swimsuit and I’ve been reluctant to buy anything because everything looks unflattering on me haha Unsure why I never thought of high waisted bikinis. Thank you so much because I know what I’ll be getting for the summer now!

i’m not a fan of high waisted clothes, all the time when i’m wear them i think that are not made for me, not for my shapes… i agree with all pros which u wrote, but still don’t feel comfortable with those clothes.

I totally went out and bought a pair of high waist shorts after reading this post! I’m 5’3 (more like 5’2 but I like to give myself a little extra 😉 ) and I’ve always been aware of how short my legs look but after reading that you’re my height and love them, I thought I’d give them a try and I’m sooooo happy! These are the first shorts I’ve worn in literally YEARS! So thank you for inspiring me on high-waisted bottoms!
