$50 Giveaway from Necessary Clothing!

My hubby and I decided to take a “Babymoon” and stay on South Beach for a few days. It was an absolute blast filled with wonderful food (below I am devouring amazing waffles with fresh fruit) & awesome beach weather.
I paired up with Necessary Clothing, which is not maternity wear but I found this awesome basic dress that comes in every color imaginable. It is the perfect vacation dress because it’s adorable yet so comfortable.  These butterfly gladiator sandals were the perfect statement to a casual dress and were great for walking and shopping since they were super comfortable.

Now is your chance to win your favorite item from Necessary Clothing! Enter to win $50 of product!

“Skinny” Loaded Baked Potato Soup

Crock pot recipes are some of my favorites during the winter. Not only does it make the house smell amazing, but it’s also wonderful to come home from work and have dinner ready.  I have always loved a thick & creamy comfort soup, especially when it’s chilly outside and snow covers the ground.  This is my version of a healthier baked potato soup.  Still very delicious minus the guilt!  One thing it’s missing: scallions.  Pregnancy brain hit my at the grocery store.

DIY Floral Hair Clip

This video was done a few months ago for a bridal site I was working on with a friend. I realized, it is such an easy DIY clip that is perfect not just for bridal, but for spring as well. I found all materials at A.C. Moore & was able to make these adorable hair clips for under $5. See video for full instructions!

Maternity Clothing: Candy Stiletto’s Picks

Being pregnant, I’ve tried to not spend too much money on clothing and have been stretching out the clothing I have for a while both literally and figuratively!  However, sometimes you need something special and I have found a few favorite go-to stores.  Investing in the classics such as a good pair of maternity jeans is the best thing to do.  I find that I wear the same few pants over and over since they are so comfy and switch out the tops.  I also cannot wait for spring to bring out some awesome maternity maxi dresses!

1. Pinkblush Maternity: I have found so many cute items on this fabulous online boutique. Best part, it does not break the bank! From cute maxis, to the perfect cardigan, Pink Blush has everything under the sun.
2. Old Navy Maternity: For basic tees and jeans, I love Old Navy. I found some super cute tee-shirt dresses n sale and am very impressed with their maternity line thus far.
3. Preggo Leggings: If you have been pregnant, you know leggings are a pregnant woman’s best friend! They are so comfortable, stretch as you go, and go with pretty much everything. Preggo Leggings has a variety of colors and style of the most comfortable, stylish leggings.
4. Motherhood: I love their jeans and work pants. With designers like Jessica Simpson and Wendy Bellissimo, there are some great stylish pieces and they constantly have sales as well!

Black + Tan

Sometimes, nothing beats a chic all black look. Although a classic look, adding a fun fabric or color can bring an otherwise classic outfit to feel a little more trendy. This adorable leather fringe bag that I found on clearance at Marshall’s did just that, added a little flare to bring this look to life.  The slimming of darker colors also helps my quickly rounding shape 🙂

Stay tuned for more looks from this photo-shoot for the Serene Sky Lookbook, coming soon!
