*Bridal Shower*

This past weekend was my Bridal Shower.  It was spectacular from the food, to the entertainment, and of course the people.  It was a great event and I thank everyone who was involved, including my mom, my bridesmaids, friends, and family.  I just wanted to share some of my favorite photos that my photography Lizz Riley took from 5 Diamonds Photography.

Bubblegum Martini

This martini is so yummy- its like chewing on Bubblicious gum, while getting tipsy! It is also very pretty to look at.  It’s definitely a girl’s drink and can be garnished perfectly for a fun ladies’ cocktail party.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Three Olives brand bubblegum vodka
  • 1 ounce peach schnapps
  • 2 ounce pineapple juice
  • splash of grenadine

Directions:  Put 5 cubes of ice in shaker and add all ingredients and shake well! Rim glass with pink sugar. Garnish will cute gum balls, gummy bears, or maraschino cherries!

**You can also make your OWN bubblegum vodka by getting your favorite brand of vodka and letting about 5 pieces of bubblegum (ie. double bubble) sit in the vodka overnight.**

Salley Hansen Nail Strips *product review*

I love cool nail designs- I just never have the artistic ability to pull them off.  And salons charge an arm & a leg for nail designs.  So when I heard about Sally Hansen Nail Strips, I had to try them.  I was a bit skeptical at first but they came out amazing!  I got them at Target for around $8 and it literally took me only 15 minutes to do.  All you do is make sure your nails are polish, oil-free, & dry and simple find the strips that fit your nail, file down the excess strip, and voila- you have beautiful, crazy, fun nail designs.

Also… don’t forget today is the LAST day to enter the Candy Stilettos CUPCAKE CONTEST! Like us on facebook and upload a pic of your best cupcake and you can win an all-inclusive baking kit!
