Gladiator Head-Candy❤

I was so excited about our new walkway (pictured above) that I had my husband take my outfit post pics right in our front yard.  Our puppy Zoey, of course, wanted to be part of the action.  I was going out for dinner by the shore and went for a casual yet flowy look, of course with this gorgeous Dana-Band!

Chevron Nails & Gelato

Yesterday was the perfect day to just walk around the city (I work in New Haven) and stop by the local market and indulge in some delicious Sicilian pistachio gelato.  It was perfect.  I love working in New Haven, lots of great markets, restaurants, and the Yale campus (pictured above) is so beautiful.  Oh, and my chevron mani made me smile too.  It’s the little things. 🙂

Get the Look: Colored shorts

Colored bottoms have been such a chic look and is coming back strong this summer.  I love the idea of some bold shorts and a simple shirt because it is so fun and carefree.  Cameron Diaz looks adorable in her yellow shorts and striped tee while I wore some Forever 21 mustard yellow shorts and a plain white Old Navy tank.  Makes the perfect summer outfit and can go from day to night.
