Bright colors and flowers are truly the signs of spring and this royal blue poncho is the perfect statement piece. Ponchos have been so comfortable for me during this pregnancy since they are adorable yet flowy. Everyone has those days that we just want clothing that isn’t too form-fitting and a layering with this adorable cape is the perfect fit.

Three Shades of Grey

Tomorrow is the first day of spring and here in New England, there are no signs of tulips.. unless they are under the snow. Normally, by now I have packed away my winter boots and heavier sweaters but have had the need to hang on to them for a few more weeks.
Layering is my favorite for unpredictable months like March because it can be 30 degrees in the morning and then 63 in the afternoon. I am loving this look from Serene Sky Boutique that kept me cozy and warm yet had enough versatility with layers to transform into a lighter outfit.

One of my favorite looks from the Candy Stilettos lookbook on Serene Sky boutique is this burgundy and fringe style that exudes comfort and style. Even though it’s March, the temps have been in the 30’s so still hanging onto my boots and thicker tights for the season!

Tied Dye Poncho: Serene Sky Lookbook Series

I am excited to share some of my favorite styles from the lookbook collaboration with Serene Sky Boutique a few weeks back and am so in love with their clothing. This Tied Dye poncho by Oh! So Cali Clothing was perfectly boho chic and made me feel so beautiful. I loved the way my hairdresser {Ashley Stone from Beauty Entourage} did the braided casual updo which really put together the look, along with neutral, soft makeup. Black + Tan

Sometimes, nothing beats a chic all black look. Although a classic look, adding a fun fabric or color can bring an otherwise classic outfit to feel a little more trendy. This adorable leather fringe bag that I found on clearance at Marshall’s did just that, added a little flare to bring this look to life. The slimming of darker colors also helps my quickly rounding shape 🙂
