miami – Candy Stilettos

My hubby and I decided to take a “Babymoon” and stay on South Beach for a few days. It was an absolute blast filled with wonderful food (below I am devouring amazing waffles with fresh fruit) & awesome beach weather.
I paired up with Necessary Clothing, which is not maternity wear but I found this awesome basic dress that comes in every color imaginable. It is the perfect vacation dress because it’s adorable yet so comfortable. These butterfly gladiator sandals were the perfect statement to a casual dress and were great for walking and shopping since they were super comfortable.

I am lucky to have friends in high places (pun-intended). My husband and I visited his best friend in Miami and I made sure to take a photo each night from his high-rise balcony. He lives in Brickell which is such an eclectic and carefree area in Miami, about 15 minutes from South Beach. We frequented the beach, strolled through the shops, and dined at some amazing restaurants. It was not easy coming back to snow today in Connecticut. Where art thou spring?
