Sweaters & Leggings: Preggo Fashion

I apologize on my lack of posting; morning sickness and fatigue have gotten the best of me throughout this pregnancy. Now that I am about 17 weeks, I am hoping the sickness will pass and I will get some energy back!
I have been living in super stretchy pants and long sweaters.  Also, I finally got around to buying some maternity pants– they are so comfy.
I have been trying to stay active with simple exercises like walking and playing with my dog Zoey because I have had no energy to do any real workouts. These wedge sneakers give me both the height and comfort I am desiring while preggo.

Daisy Does It

On the hanger, this daisy maxi looked frumpy, however I am so excited that after deciding to buy it, it’s such a versatile skirt. The high slits help add some edge to the skirt.  Over the weekend, I scored some amazing deals at the local outlets at Banana Republic, PacSun, and J. Crew. I tried on some things that I normally wouldn’t and was happy with the outcome.

What’s your most recent, out-of-your-comfort-zone purchase?

Street Style: Transition Day to Night

Sometimes I have those days where I am having a crazy day at work and am counting down for my evening plans such as grabbing dinner with a friend, heading to a concert, or even just happy hour. If I have time, I love to get out of my work clothes and put on something a little more night-time appropriate but if you have a quick 10 minutes, you can change up an entire look. This week’s #StreetStyle post is all about transitioning your work attire to your play attire in less than 10 minutes.

“I still have my feet on the ground, I just wear better shoes.”

Are you ready for our new #streetstyle post?  This week is all about the boots!  These boots are made for walkin’ and they are also made to look freakin adorable! 🙂  Fall activities call for fall attire and we decided that boots, floral, and layers are the best way to stay comfortable yet look fashionably chic.  Our goal with street style is to put together real, affordable looks for the every day fashion-obsesed girl.
