Monday’s Look for Less

When is it okay to splurge and when can you get by with a steal? From lipstick colors to high-fashion designs, there are always options. Personally, I like to invest in “classics” such as a favorite handbag, favorite purse and splurge on a classic pair of boots. However, when I may be going for a more “trendy” piece, I try to save a little money and find alternatives to still look fabulous. Here is this week’s look for less!

splurge vs steal

Coral & Lace

This week has been a crazy work-week so I needed comfortable, quick outfits that still look put-together amidst the madness. I love colored dress pants so I went for high-waisted coral pants with a lace crop-top for a booked day of client meetings. Tomorrow is the TPC Traveler’s Golf Tournament I am attending with News 8.. now what to where there?

Back to School (or work) Shopping

Although I have been out of school for a few years, I never really stopped “back to school” shopping.  Summer attire is pretty relaxed and comfortable and it’s fun to rev your wardrobe to a more buttoned-up, classy look for fall.  Plus, fall is my favorite season for fashion with layers, tights, scarves, and so many fun skirts and tops. Below are a few faves I have my eye on for fall- Tiffany pendant & bracelet, gorgeous Burberry tote, neutral pencil skirt, & girly iPhone cover.
