Casual Updo

A lot of times, we associate updos with more formal events but I am a huge fan of updos for a casual night out, especially as the weather starts to get warmer. With festival season upon on, twists and braids are everything right now. I am loving this updo by Ashley Stone, owner of Beauty Entourage, which I paired with my favorite Nasty Gal headpiece. I did give this type of updo a stab on my own and was happy with the results. Of course it doesn’t compare to Beauty Entourage but for a quick updo, the braided crown is easy to master. One of my favorite looks from the Candy Stilettos lookbook on Serene Sky boutique is this burgundy and fringe style that exudes comfort and style. Even though it’s March, the temps have been in the 30’s so still hanging onto my boots and thicker tights for the season!

Tied Dye Poncho: Serene Sky Lookbook Series

I am excited to share some of my favorite styles from the lookbook collaboration with Serene Sky Boutique a few weeks back and am so in love with their clothing. This Tied Dye poncho by Oh! So Cali Clothing was perfectly boho chic and made me feel so beautiful. I loved the way my hairdresser {Ashley Stone from Beauty Entourage} did the braided casual updo which really put together the look, along with neutral, soft makeup.
