I had a beautiful weekend in Newport, RI with my family. It is one of my favorite places to travel in New England. Wonderful food, excellent drinks, and of course, my family!
This week has been a crazy work-week so I needed comfortable, quick outfits that still look put-together amidst the madness. I love colored dress pants so I went for high-waisted coral pants with a lace crop-top for a booked day of client meetings. Tomorrow is the TPC Traveler’s Golf Tournament I am attending with News 8.. now what to where there?

I’ve never been a mojito lover because most of the places that I have tried them, they were pre-mixed and not fresh. This past weekend, for Father’s Day, we had a wonderful barbecue by the pool and I decided to make some fresh mojitos, Jamie style. I used flavored Bacardi to add a little raspberry flavor and used Truvia instead of sugar. I was delightfully surprised by how refreshing these were. Not too sweet but definitely the perfect pool-side drink.

Directions:
In a large pitcher, muddle mint sprigs with Truvia until well combined. Add ice, rum and club soda and stir together. Add lots of lemon and lime wedges. Pour into glasses, and add a lime for garnish. Enjoy!
Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of attending a dear friend’s wedding. It was a beautiful outside ceremony and the color-scheme of her wedding was beautiful- I incidentally matched the accent colors, which were a minty-turquoise. The wedding was extra special because it brought back great memories for me as it was held at where I had my reception for my wedding. Congratulations to my friends Jen & Jim! ❤

I rarely wear sneakers unless I am hiking or working out. I am 5’2 and take any inch I can get so I usually avoid flats or sneakers at all cost. When I saw these adorable pink-accented wedge sneakers for only $10 on clearance at T.J. Maxx, I knew I would be kicking around in sneakers a lot more. I paired with basic shorts and a versatile Denim top from Squares Hearts my new go-to site for great finds at awesome prices, where you can find here. Of course, the corona light & my pup Zoey brought the whole look together; don’t you just love summer nights?
