Loyal readers, I have missed you all.  I am back from Hawaii and had an amazing wedding and honeymoon.  Of course, being in Hawaii opened new doors for fashion for me as well, especially in Honolulu where Japanese fashion is prominent there- amazing!  Posts coming soon.  Just wanted to share a few wedding photos.

So my wedding is on Saturday but more importantly, I am going to Hawaii on my honeymoon.  I want a casual, tropical, comfortable look.  Here is my Hawaiian inspired look.

I know we are all a little blue about summer going by so fast.  But in New England, fall is an amazing season.  The colors that paint our mountains and trees are so beautiful and inspirational, especially for fashion.  September calls for knee high boots, light scarfs, pea coats, and beautiful bronze, orange, and red colors.  Whether you are going back to school, starting a new job, or just getting ready for the new season, your fall style can really inspire you and make you feel great.  A few must have: brown and black boots, a big brown tote, bold lipstick (such as deep red, dark berry, and bronze), and of course, colored/patterned scarves to accent your wardrobe.

Color blocking is so much fun, it’s like picking out your favorite colors in a crayola box and putting them together.  Hello cerulian blue and banana yellow!  So.much.fun.  Especially for summer, putting together bold, solid colors is a trend that screams fun and trendy.  Two colors that you may think would look ridiculous together just may work.
