There is AMAZING fashion event right here in lil old Hartford, CT next Thursday September 20th 4-9pm at The Society Room in Hartford, CT.

It is THE event for local fashionistas, bloggers, shoe-fanatics, makeup lovers, and anything in between.  Local celebrities such as Sonia Baghdady & Teresa LaBarbera from Ch 8 News, Irene O’Connor from Ch 3 News, and Rachel Lutzker from Fox 61, Nancy Barrows from 93.7 will be there to celebrate this StyleHartford event presenting by VAZ- Feminine, Fabulous, Fun.

StyleHartford will be a night of shopping, pampering, socializing and entertainment featuring designers from CT, NY, RI  showcasing the looks of  Fall  2012 & Spring 2013.

Experience a night of feminine, fabulous, fun shopping from over 50 exhibitors, *sampling from local restaurants & national liquor companies, complimentary henna & psychic readings, make-overs from Macy’s cosmetics & BLO hair dry bar and more!

Confession of a purple-holic

Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE purple.  From my purple coffee mug, to purple and grey themed master bedroom, purple go-to Marc Jacobs bag… I am obsessed.  A lot of times, my friends have to talk me out of getting anything else purple.. but hey it goes with everything right?  Anyway, I wanted to confess my love for purple and see if there are any other purple-obsessed people out there that are just like me?  I’d love to hear your purple obsessions.

Although this look has been worn many different ways, the nautical-themed look never seems to tire.  It is so classic and chic and there are so many different ways to incoporate this tailored look.  I took some simple & classic comfortable pieces to put this look together.

Fashion Night Out

Even though West Hartford, CT is no NYC, fashionistas from all over CT walked the “red carpet” to local boutiques and stores for West Hartford’s fashion night out.  It was a great night filled with amazing shoes, handbags, and fashionistas alike.
